    There are no words that I can possibly say to explain what a great man Scott was. So many memories fill in my mind as I remember him like when we were younger and we all hung out in our gothic attire and then as we grew up and matured into adults how much fun he still was. He was a very loving and caring person he will always be missed and I hope we all take him on our life journeys and never let him slip away. To his family and his loving wife, Patsy, you are all in my thoughts and prayers and if you need anything I am here for all of you. Scott, may you rest in peace and know that everyone down here loves you and misses you deeply including me. See you again one day my dear friend. xoxo

    Stew is a resident of Staywell Manor Garrison Woods and Scott was a bright light that arrived every day. While I was there visiting Scott would be accessible to talk with, joke with and always ready to help. He was so happy about his marriage and his wonderful smile will be missed by many. 9. My heart breaks for the family of Scott. He was a wonderful man. Take comfort in the fact that his love will never leave you.

    Do not stand at my grave and weep,
    I am not there; I do not sleep.
    I am a thousand winds that blow,
    I am the diamond glints on snow,
    I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
    I am the gentle autumn rain.
    When you awaken in the morning’s hush
    I am the swift uplifting rush
    Of quiet birds in circled flight.
    I am the soft stars that shine at night.
    Do not stand at my grave and cry,
    I am not there;
    I did not die.

  10. Brenda Hall Hriskevitch :

    I had the pleasure of meeting Scott when visiting my mother and father in-law at Stay Well Manor. He directed us to their apartment in a very jovial and friendly way. Each time my daughter and I would come to visit , we would look around and ask for Scott. When he was working , all you had to do was listen for the laughter and you knew Scott was nearby. He was a joyful soul who shared his laughter and jokes with everyone. I am certain he will be missed by all the residents at Staywell Manor, his colleagues and most definitely all the staff. I can’t imagine the loss his family must feel for such a sudden departure by such a youthful young man. My condolences to the entire Mitchel family.
