  2. To Bonnie’s family –

I had the honor of knowing Bonnie since the early 90’s through Thorncliff-Greenview slowpitch baseball league. She was a friend of mine. She selflessly and good naturedly kept score for our every game, and would even play if we were short until her difficult nursing injury; and we all loved her for it. She was also our best, yappiest and spunkiest supporter from the sidelines, and took no guff from the other team if there was any. That really didn’t matter, because the other teams quickly came to love her too because she kept score with the efficiency and tenacity of a bulldog, and when they missed something, she had it, along with a rapier wit.

I also had the good fortune of watching Meagan and Chad grow from little for a few years alongside the ball field, along with my daughter who played with them on occasion. My thoughts are with them both right now. I know they’ll go on to honor her by living the best life that they’re able, because I know with certainty that they had a really good mother.

    My sincerest condolences,

Mary (and Bob & Cassandra) Culham

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Bonnie. Our fondest memory of Bonnie is when she visited us when we lived in Sooke. She was an adventerous, caring woman with a whitty sense of humour. She will be forever missed. Our prayers are with Georgie, Maegan and Chad, her close friends and extended family as they journey through this difficult time. With love Wendy, Gary and family
