It is with great saddness that we extend our condolences to Melanie, Cory, Alan and Vanessa. We will miss our visits with Irene in Regina, at our cottage and in Calgary. Also, our regular telephone conversations, even when she was in Arizona. She was very hospitable and insisted we stop to see her whenever we passed through Calgary. We have many good memories.

I met Irene when I was in my twenties and I had kept up with her life through my friendship with Melanie. I am so sorry for their loss. Mothers can never be replaced. I hope their faith will see them through this difficult time.
