  3. Mildred Williams :

I was shocked & sorry to see Tom’s obit in the paper this morning.
Tom was such a nice man & he did so much for others, including his family of course. He was a volunteer with Calgary Seniors Resource Society for years driving seniors to medical appointments until he had back surgery. I smile when I remember the time Tom referred to seniors as raisins. Occassionally I would ask Ted Valentine about Tom. Suggesting mourners “perform a random act of kindness” seems so fitting for Tom. May you find comfort in your happy memories & hold him in your heart. The world is a better place because Tom was in it. His life is to be celebrated. Take care. Mildred

  9. Hello Anna,
I read about Tom in the paper this week. So sorry to hear about his passing and my deepest sympathy to you and all the family. He was a very special man and I’m sure your memories of him will give you much peace. I am still in BC, so I will not be able to make the funeral, but I will be thinking of you. Remember the sign just past the park gate: “The Mountains Shall Bring Peace to the People.” Come out for some rest when you can.
Thinking of you at this really sad time,
    Chriss
