  3. Sandy, my sincere condolences to you and your family. Your dad was a kind, gentle man. I knew both your parents well in my younger days, from their friendship with my parents, Frank & Sylvia Ashkin. Mom & dad are both also gone now, but I remember Gordon’s kind words when he sent sent my dad a card when mom passed away in 2005. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

  5. My memories of Gordon go back to when he was a student at Bedford Road Collegiate in Saskatoon, and his family lived on 28 Street there. Gordon was a frequent visitor to our home, till we moved to Calgary. It was so good to meet a former Saskatoonian when he moved to work in Calgary. It was through his work that we met up with him again; he was always a most thoughtful and generous man to everyone who was fortunate enough to know him. Sincere Condolences to all the members of his family. Jean ‘MacKenzie’ Duke
