Bruce passed peacefully at Rockyview Hospital with his family by his side on August 1, 2012 at the age of 74, due to sudden illness. Up until the very last day he maintained his spirit and sense of humor.
Bruce is survived by his loving wife of thirty-six years, Sharon; his sons, Doug (Millan), Jeff (Laurie), Gary (Kelly), Brian, Robert (Troy) and Roger (Veronica); his thirteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and siblings, Shirley, Barb (Dennis), Eleanor, Frank (Mary Lou), Bonnie (John) and Brenda (Brian). Only his love of sports, especially hockey, rivalled how much he enjoyed spending time with his family. We sadly say goodbye to a best friend, soul mate, wonderful husband, great father, beloved grandpa and caring brother.
