McDONALD, Leona (nee Arsenault)

May 2, 1927 – Tignish, PEI
October 22, 2013 – Calgary, AB

Leona McDonald of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at the age of 86 years.

Leona will be remembered as a loving, generous, happy-go-lucky lady who brightened everyone’s life she touched. Words cannot describe what a wonderful person our loving mother was.

Leona is survived by four sons and a daughter, Roger (Corrine), Russel, Cindy, Joe and Brian; three grandchildren Jeremiah (Dawn), Alanna and Marc (Jenn); one great-grandson Ethan and a sister Rita (Whitey) as well as many family members living in Calgary, Prince Edward Island, Ontario, New Brunswick and New England States.

She was predeceased by her husband Alton McDonald and a daughter Mary LaRocque (nee McDonald).

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W. Calgary, AB) on Monday, October 28, 2013 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W. Calgary, AB) on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
