September 5, 1935 – August 18, 2012
Oh how I wept so deeply for the loss of my dear wife of 47 years. She was such a kind and gentle person. Friendly, compassionate, good natured, generous and humorous, among her other fine qualities.
And yet Maureen suffered over 20 years with a debilitating lung disease that slowly reduced the oxygen supply to her lungs, and finally claimed her at home where she died peacefully while sleeping.
Maureen was loved by her many friends who all called her “Moe”. Being a happy and personable lady she will be missed by all those who knew her.
Maureen is survived by her ever loving husband Bill McCutcheon; son Philip (Debbie) McCutcheon, grandsons Jake and Derrick; daughter Erin (Leonard) Drolet, grandsons Daniel, David and Derin Drolet; and sister Roseanne (Bill) Sheptycki. She will be forever missed and remembered.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Burial to take place Sunday, August 26, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in Queen’s Park Cemetery. Please forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
