  1. Claudia Bryden :

    Hello –

I met Janet in Chatham where we attended Gr 7 and 8. She never lost that sweet “chipmunk” smile. I never kept in touch and have not seen her since 1974.

She was a good athlete and I will always remember her smile and her long beautiful wavy hair. I’m so sorry she has passed on so very young.

Jessie so shocked and saddened to hear of your Mom’s passing. Your Mom sure loved loved you. You were the apple of her eye. I haven’t seen Janet in years, looking at her picture here reminds me of that wonderful smile, you look a lot like her. Hang in there buddy, life is hard sometimes, we can’t understand the sad things that happen to us. Just know you are loved by your family. Aunt Dixie and family.

  3. I never got the chance to meet Janet but I spoke with her everyday on the phone. I work on the Education Assistant Roster at the Calgary Board of Education and would assign jobs to her. She was always so friendly and we shared a lot of laughs. I know she loved her son deeply as she often spoke of him. She was appreciated by the schools and children that she committed her time to. I will miss talking to her daily and I am sure the schools and children will miss her too.
