  2. I had the pleasure of working with Tina at MRU. She was playful, funny, witty and kindhearted. The patience and care she took with students was inspiring, particularly international students she felt were struggling with navigating their way through their first year at Mount Royal. I loved the way she talked about John, it made me laugh without fail every time. I also loved to watch her eyes light up when her grandson would walk by the front windows. I will miss her and am glad to have known her.

To her daughters who she adored, may your love for her be the secret place you forever get to spend time with her and feel her loving you back.

  8. I worked with Tina for almost 10 years….all of them a joy when she was there. Almost every day she would have a story to tell about one of her girls, John, or for the past few years the little man who stole her heart – Keelan. Through each story the pure love she had for all of you shone through.
John, Erin, Melissa and Kayla – words cannot express how deeply sorry I am for your loss.

  11. Joachim Barnett :

I remember as a young boy playing in Chapel Street and Martina would always say hello. I remember the badminton racket that would sometime accompany her. I remember being told that she was going to Canada but not really understanding what it meant or that we would never bump into each other on the street again. Martina had an amazing life in Canada and so much happiness came her way with family. My condolences to Martina’s family. Joachim Barnett, Balbriggan

  14. Chelsea Davidson :

I just heard the news of my neighbour Tina’s passing a year ago. I had the pleasure of working with her for a year and she definitely had the best sense of humour of any woman I’ve ever worked with. I also had the pleasure to be her neighbour for many years and her joy for family and life was so easy to see. My condolences to all of her family (especially her daughters she spoke so highly of) she was one amazing woman.
