McCLURE, Carl Percy

August 14, 2013 – Calgary, AB

Carl McClure beloved husband of Joyce (nee Jacobson) of Calgary, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at the age of 76 years.

Carl will be remembered for his love of classic North American built cars and auctions. He played in many bands throughout his life and entertained thousands with his amazing harmonica skills.

Throughout his courageous two year battle with cancer he was surrounded by family and friends.

Besides his loving wife Joyce of fifty-seven years, Carl will be lovingly remembered by his sons Leslie (and stepson Chris), Monte (Leona), and Jamie (Connie); daughter Kim (Alf) Cole (nee McClure); grandchildren, Travis (Mandy), Sarah, Braylyn (Kevin) and Aleaha; and by three sisters, Ellen, Irene and Donna (Don). He was predeceased by his father Percy; mother Olive, step-father Manly; siblings, Iris, Wilbert, Hughy, Orville, Lloyd, Ester and Isabell.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
