Pat was a terrific Uncle and friend. His big heart and kind words were always a strong guide post through life. Thank you Aunty Gene for all of the wonderful hospitality suppers, breakfasts and lunches. We look forward to many more ….especially the cheese biscuits. We were blessed and proud to have Great Uncle Pat at Katelyn’s baptism in July. Katelyn loved it when he sang “Hi Hoe Hi Hoe its off to work we go”. Our thoughts and prayers are with Aunt Gene, Shawn, David, Erin and families. We love you.

Gene, our deepest sympathies and condolences to you and your family during this time.

You are wonderful neighbours and we will all miss seeing Pat in the crescent. Especially Nayla and Nolan who would say “Hi Mr. McCarthy”, as they run into your yard to retrieve a toy.

  7. Kevin McCarthy :

Aunti Gene, Shawn, David, Erin and family: I’m sorry for your loss, I pray to God that he will help you all through your time of sadness and sorrow from losing your beloved Pat. Pat was a good man and I was proud to call him my uncle, I had a lot of respect for Pat and enjoyed being in his company. He truly was a farm boy at heart and I especially liked it when he would drive out to the farm at seeding or harvest time with his camera in hand and take pictures of Dad, uncle Phillip and I working the fields, I was always proud to be in his sites and would look forward to seeing the pictures one day. I’m greatful to have spent time with him last summer and just last month. He was an interesting man to visit with, he always had my full attention when he spoke, I really enjoyed his stories about his growing up on the farm back in the good old days. I will miss him and I’m sure Dad and uncle Micheal are happy to see him. Don’t ever forget, you will see him again one day. God bless.
