  4. I had the pleasure of calling Ellen ‘my friend’. Her and I had amazing conversations and she would say that she felt her and I saw life and its’ moments in the same way…not always what was obvious, but able to look slightly ‘deeper’. I was proud that she considered me in this way, as I marvelled at her uncanny ability to perceive with exceptional intuition. Ellen derived great pleasure in ‘giving’…expecting nothing in return but your pleasure in ‘receiving’. She had a marvelous view of the world, and a generosity of spirit that touched me on numerous occasions. Thank you, Ellen, for making a difference in my life….
    I will miss you profoundly….
    With love and affection,
    Dee

  7. Elizabeth McKay (Bessie) and family :

We are so very sorry to hear of Ellen’s passing. She was incredibly enthusiastic and got things done when no one else could. Ellen was kind enough to bring the church bulletin to our Mom each Sunday. Her presence at Scenic Acres will be sadly missed.
