MARK, Joan (nee Cartledge)

January 17, 1921 – June 23, 2012

Joan Mark, beloved grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt, passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at the age of 91 years.

Joan was born in Torquay, England. She married Ken Mark on June 17, 1940. They moved to Canada with their daughter April. Together they shared many years, enjoying travelling, camping and boating. Joan loved knitting, playing cards, gambling, and playing Mexican Train. Her pop can tab collection was probably the largest in Canada which helped to purchase many wheelchairs.

Joan was predeceased by her husband Ken and her daughter April. She is survived by her three granddaughters, Rhonda, Janice and Monica and two great-grandchildren, Jeremy and MacKenzie, as well as numerous nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
