She is survived by her husband of fifty-six years, James Kinnear, children, Alan (Jean Mark) of Calgary, Verna (Peter Renaud) of Kingston, ON, Janice (Harvey Hunke) of Dallas, TX and Donald of Vancouver, BC. Mildred was born in Indian Head, SK, educated in schools in SK and AB, and moved to Ottawa during WWII to work with the civil service. In that capacity, she met James. They were married in 1952. This union was blessed with their four children. After raising their family in Ottawa, they moved to Perth, ON where they resided for twenty-three years, then moved to Calgary in 2006. Mildred had many interests, working for UnitedChurch groups, singing in choirs, and memberships in garden clubs. Arts and crafts were a big part of her life.
