Izzy Mandelbaum of Calgary passed away on April 25, 2008 at the age of 98 years.
Izzy was born in Radom, Poland on December 10, 1909. He was a survivor of the Holocaust, who immigrated to Canada in 1947, first living in Montreal, QC and then relocating to Calgary in 1971.
Israel is survived by his son Max and daughter-in-law, Peggy. He was predeceased by his wife Rose.
Funeral Services will be held at the Beth Tzedec Synagogue, (1325 Glenmore Trail S.W) on Monday, April 28, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at the Jewish Cemetery (30th Avenue & Erlton Street S.W.).
