Dale Wayne Maillet, 56, of Okotoks, Alberta, passed away unexpectedly on May 23, 2014.
Dale was born on April 23, 1958 in Springhill, Nova Scotia where he grew up. At the age of 16, he relocated to Calgary to pursue a career in the construction industry. He was a dedicated, successful and, most of all, a hardworking tradesman. He has worked with PCL Construction in Calgary for 25 years. Dale most enjoyed spending his time with his children and grandchildren, often having BBQ’s at his home. He also enjoyed leisurely afternoon drives, landscaping his yard and was always helping the less fortunate.
Dale is lovingly remembered by his mother Madina Wheeler; his sister Dorothy Halvorson; Karen Klee, mother of Dale’s two dear children, Travis and Lindsey Maillet; his two grandchildren, Dominic and Mackenzie; as well as many other family members and close friends.
A Celebration of Dale’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
