Condolence Messages

  1. The Quinn family have fond memories of Sam, in particular when he drove the school bus. His gentleness was evident when dealing with sleepy, happy, grumpy kids as they piled on the bus in every kind of weather. His faithfulness, and that of his sisters, Kitty and Harriet at the “Little Church on the Corner” was a great inspiration to all who knew him. Rest in peace, Sam you have served your Lord well. Myrna Quinn

  2. Lorraine Fowler/Adlington :

Have known Sam for over fifty years. He was a wonderful neighbour — broke up the land for our garden and tree rows when we purchased our property a mile or so past his place. Our children grew up with milk from Sam’s cows. He fed the many homeless cats (some of them dropped off at his gate) with a saucer of milk at milking time. He was a well-loved gentleman and I know he will be missed. I know he is fondly remembered by the Adlington family.

  4. My condolences to Sam’s family. He certainly was a man with a gentle spirit and a very kind face. Although his words were few, when Michael and I would talk with him…our horse, Saresh, was kept in his corral at the farm for awhile…we enjoyed our brief visits with him. He was a nice man and will certainly be missed. May precious memories of him bless you and make you smile. Most sincerely, Laura King

  5. Bunnie McCrackin :

Our Sincere thoughts are with the family of Samuel Mahood. Although I did not know Samuel, I do remember his family. I was only a wee girl, age 5 when we lived near the Mahoods on the Otter road in the Langley area. I mostly remember Kitty and Bill. I loved playing in the small “creek” that ran through your property. God’s Blessings on you.
