  13. Iris Hau CA :

It feels like just yesterday we came by your home picked up baby furniture that your family no longer needed. I still remembered Barry’s sense of humor and laughing at us being the nervous first time parents. Fast forward twenty years now, I still am amazed at Barry’s positive attitude, generosity, and love of life, and of course Nancy and the two proud kids. I remembered last time I ran into him and Nancy in the restaurant at Kinjo. He sure didn’t lose his sensor of humor and still offered his advice to us on how to be parents now that my kids have grown. He was indeed a great teacher and inspiring mentor to all who had a chance to work with him. He was a great businessman and not a usual boring accountant. I wanted to say thank you to Barry for training me up during my early career as a new CA. I wanted to share my condolences to the family at this difficult time. Because of Barry, I will always remember to smile and be positive in life. Thank you.

  29. Karla Kujat and Stig Olsen :

    Dear Mah Family,

I was so shocked and saddened to hear about Barrys passing, I wish that I had had some more moments with him. We met briefly when he was down in Rio Verde visiting my parents. Both Stig and I, so enjoyed his company.

He was/is a bearer of light.

The few moments and short time we spent together left a big impression on both Stig and I. I was recently in Calgary and brought home gifts for our children, that Barry had sent on to us when Mailea was born last June (I hadn’t been back to Calgary since). The boys are really enjoying their new cars and the thoughtful book. We will be reminded of him as they play.
May strength be with you during this time and may you all be filled with wonderful memories of your husband, dad, son and friend.

    Dear Nancy, Ryan, and Lucas,

I had the privilege of knowing Barry for many years. He was a true and devoted friend, and our family had a deep trust and respect for him. When my father, Gordon Reimer was in the hospital in critical care, Barry came to visit him almost every day. He was there to support our family when we needed it and he took care of many business details in our company. He was a wonderful person and a true and loyal friend. He will be deeply missed by the entire Reimer family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this loss. We will remember what a great man Barry was and we are thankful to have known him.
    Deepest condolences,
    Anita Reimer
