  6. Sheila and Phil Swan :

Colleen, Sherry, Janice, Patty, and families. My heart was broken when Janice informed me of Helen’s sudden passing. Phil and I send our deepest sympathy to all the family. Helen held a very special place in my heart – we have known each other since we were 16, and resumed our friendship in 1997 when we returned home to Calgary. What fun times we had over coffee, lunch, shopping, on the phone. I will truly be at a loss of a true and gentle friend. Love to all. Sheila and Phil Swan.

  11. I am so very sorry that I can’t make Helen’s Funeral but I have had the opportunity to speak to most of the family and offer my condolences on the loss of Helen and my sister-in-law of 55 years. Our families share a lot of great memories with our Sunday dinners, family get togethers etc. We enjoyed Helen and family at Christina Lake and Echo Lake on summer vacations as well. Recently Norma Christie sister-in law, Helen and myself got together a lot for dinners at the Danish Canadian Club, Book searches and always lunch after. I am really going to miss a great friend and sister-in- law but she is on her was to see Wally up there playing tennis and Rick and Doreen thumbing their way through Brochures of exotic places to visit and betting on Baseball Games.
Have a great journey Helen and thank you for providing me with so many nice memories of a very caring, strong and wonderful person. All my love to Helen’s family as they were very close to her in every respect.
    Jim Lyall (Uncle Jim)

  16. Hans Speelman :

    To Helen Macintosh’s family:
I am 20 years Helen’s junior, and worked with her as a co-worker at Gulf Canada, in what must have been the early 1990’s. I remember her as a very kind and warm presence in our office. I particularly recall how she showed affection for my then very young children who dropped by the office during stampede time. Condolences on your loss.
