Christina Macfarlan passed away peacefully on Friday, May 9, 2014 at the age of 79 years.
Chris enjoyed a full, active life and was able to enjoy many years of retirement, after working twelve years at Sun Oil and twenty at Foothills Pipeline.
She was born and educated in Calgary, starting her schooling at King George, then Haultain and finishing at Western Canada High Schools.
Chris’s wonderful sense of humor and overflowing warm heartedness and generosity of sprit will be sorely missed. She served as an example to all with her sense of responsibility to community which was exemplified with her volunteer work with the Kiwanis Music Festival and with CUPS.
Christina is survived by her sister Jean Macfarlan; nephews, Ward of Calgary and Neil of Vancouver; and two great-nephews Ian and Jeff of Mission. Christina was predeceased by her parents Ann and Edward; and her brothers Ed and Donald.
