It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our loving husband, father and grandfather.
Vern was born in Poplar Bluff, MO. He served in the U.S. Army from 1959 – 1962.
Vern is survived by his beloved wife of fifty years, Darlene (Bass) Lynde. He will be fondly and forever remembered by his four children, Douglas, Sonya, Sherri, and Jason, and his seven grandchildren. Vern is also survived by his four siblings, Patty Dufield, Robert Lynde, Les Lynde, and Clara Mae Linke.
Vern was a successful business owner in Calgary, an active outdoorsman and horseshoe player.
