Condolence Messages

  1. I had the pleasure of knowing Bill for more than 24years, who was a “straight-shooter” as there ever was and a trusted friend over that entire time. We enjoyed many great years of playing hockey together and we had a common interest in flying and the aviation world. Bill could talk knowledgeably for hours about many things with aviation and technology especially near and dear to him. He was a trusted mentor to and highly respected by my sons; we all miss him immensely. Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences go to Kathy, Krista and Lisa. May you find some comfort in this most difficult time.

Kaetyn, Gudrun and I offer our condolences and our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss. Our thoughts are with you and your family and friends during this very difficult time.

Bill was a close friend and of course a fellow pilot. We spent a lot of time together, mostly at the airport. He loved flying and was dedicated to the betterment of our airport.

His love for the airport was only overshadowed by his love for his two daughters. I was always kept up to date on their progress, Lisa towards her doctorate in medicine and Krista working on her ALS designation. He had always hoped that Krista would continue the business. He was proud of his girls, as a father should be.

I cannot begin to understand the difficult time you are going through but can offer that our thoughts and prayers are yours. Bill will be sadly missed, as a good friend and a fellow aviator.

  12. I was extremely shocked and saddened to hear of Bill’s passing. I have known him for a long time, and always enjoyed our visits on various job sites. He was so down-to earth and yet knowledgeable about so much. I last saw him in September at a jobsite, and again, we had a great chat. He talked about his dad, daughters, the latest plane he would be building, his hangar, and so much more. He was a great guy, and will be missed a lot by all of us!

    Sincerely,
    John (Gold Bond Cons. Ltd.)

No one can understand the grief your family must be feeling right now, but please know that my thoughts are with you all at this difficult time. From what I know about Krista, the Lovse clan is a strong bunch and I know that the love, respect and trust you have for one another is an invaluable asset right now. 26. Reading through the endless condolences on here really shows what an amazing husband and father Bill was for the Lovse family. Like Kelly, I have had the pleasure of knowing Krista through lacrosse, both coaching alongside her and playing as well. Although I did not have the honor of meeting her father, I can only imagine he was a great man for the daughter he raised in Krista. My thoughts and condolences go out to the entire Lovse family and if I could be there to offer my love and hugs in person I would be but please know my thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. Remember that Cougars stick together and every one of us is here for you in this difficult time, all my love.

  37. Kathy, Lisa, Krista and John, I am still in shock to hear of Bill’s passing. Bill and I did so many jobs together and I will truly miss his nature of being candid and being able to see through a problem, concentrate on what the important issues are and ignore the rest. The funeral ceremony was such a fitting tribute to Bill. So nice to see that Lisa and Krista had the courage to speak at the ceremony; can’t imagine how hard that was. John lives a few doors down from me and will have a coffee with him when things settle down. My sincere condolences to all and hope that time can erase some of the pain.

  41. Dear Kathy, Krista and Lisa,
I only got to know Bill this year playing hockey with him in the +55 league. Over the years I have lost several friends, all of whom I had known for longer than I had known Bill. But his tragic passing has left me more saddened than the others. At the Service, there were several phrases that went something like “.. well, that was just Bill,” and that, for me, sums up what a great person he was.
Kathy, I believe you are most fortunate that Bill is your Husband, and likewise, Krista and Lisa, that Bill is your Dad.
I will miss him, and my sincerest thoughts are with you.

  42. Sheuli Paul from Germany :

I am a sister of Mr. Bijoy Paul. I am very sorry to hear this news from my brother who is also very sorry and speechless. I just think our life is so uncertain and how this cruel truth takes a wonderful person like Mr. Bill Lovse from the earth whom we need to be lived longer.
Mr. Lovse gave my brother an opportunity to start his career in the new land Canada (for him) when he was a research associate of Professor Bill Tesky. Mr. Lovse saved my brother from facing all tricks and struggles and challenges that one faces during job search. Mr. Lovse offered my brother a career at a right moment when he needed this. Mr. Lovse also considered my brother’s staying home while he was visiting our parents, his family and our all family members a longer period of time than his due arrival date to start his career at his company. He had a delay to come back to start his new career at Mr. Lovese’s compary but very kind hearted Mr. Lovse considered his case and late return. I had an email correspondence with him about this. He is very kind hearted and considerate person. I am not an employee of his company but I hear about him occasionally from my brother. I am just very sorry to think all on a sudden how the world lose a wonderful person like Mr. Lovese to whom we need for the dynamic existence of this world.
My prayers and condolence go to his all family members.
May God give them strength to overcome the loss of this wonderful soul.
