LOUNSBURY, Olga

August 5, 1930 – December 28, 2012

Olga “Ollie” Lounsbury passed away at the Foothills Hospital surrounded by her loving family on December 28, 2012 2012 at the age of 82 years.

Ollie was born in La Corey, AB on August 5, 1930. She Married Rae Alexander Lounsbury in July of 1955. Ollie moved from Alberta to Ontario in 1952. She later returned to Alberta in 1990, following her daughter Kim’s family, until they settled in Cochrane in 1996.

Ollie is survived by her son Stuart (Debbie) Lounsbury of Airdrie, AB; daughter Kim (Mike) Catley of Cochrane, AB; and her three grandchildren Nathan Catley, Samantha Catley and Bailey Lounsbury.

Ollie was predeceased by her husband Rae in January of 1984.

A Family Gathering was held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Cochrane Funeral Home (369 Railway Street, Cochrane, AB), on Monday, December 31, 2012. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.

    Kim & Family,
    I had the great privilege to work for Ollie for over 2 yrs and got to know such a Wonderfull Ladie. Nothing would stop her from “running” and do what she had to do… She was always excited to tell me about Kim’s travelling or her newest challenge, and always so proud of her 3 grandchildren! She will be missed by all of us at NWHD.
