Margaret “Jean” Loty of Calgary passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at the age of 98 years.
Jean was born in Guelph Township and lived eighty-eight years in Guelph until moving to Calgary to be close to her family. She brought joy to many people throughout her life with her gift of music and was a thoughtful and loving friend.
Jean is survived by her daughter Barbara Loty; son-in-law Bill Richardson; two grandsons, William and Michael Richardson all of Calgary; her brother Ken Wolfe of Fergus, ON and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband William H. Loty and her brother Jim Wolfe.
