  11. Rachelle Raine Babcock :

Mr. Loewen was my junior high guidance counsellor and he encouraged a group of us to start a “Friends Club”. We would meet with him regularly and work on being better friends and people to those around us. As the years went on we still visited Mr. Loewen from time to time and it was wonderful to still see his smiling face. I don’t remember many of my teachers over the years but it’s hard to forget such a warm heart. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

  12. Mike Sanderman, Ina Sanderman :

Mr Loewen was Michael’s Health and Guidance Counselor at Bishop Pinkham Junior High. The highlight of Parent-Teacher meetings was talking with Mr Loewen. He would always mention just once to the class that his birthday was December 24. Michael picked up on that fact and for several years until Michael went to Lethbridge, we always made a point of bringing a card and visiting Mr Loewen. He actually cried the first time because Michael was the only student over the years who noticed his birthday. Mr Lowen told us once he wanted to be a pilot when he was young but life got in the way. You have qualified for your Pilot’s licence, highest marks. Enjoy the flight.
