LIVINGSTON – James Patrick

July 7, 1962 – August 7, 2010

It is with incredible sadness that we announce the sudden passing of James Patrick Livingston on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at the age of 48 years. James (Jim) is survived by his two adoring sons, Curtis and David and their mother Gina (Jim); as well as his sister Susan (Andy). Jim also leaves to mourn his nieces, Kelsey and Molly; nephews, Matthew, Christopher and Scott; as well as his girlfriend Sue Campbell and her children, Nicole and Trevor. James was predeceased by his father Thomas Henry Livingston in 1987; his mother Margaret Elizabeth Livingston (nee Harrison) in 1997; his sister Mary Louise Kelly (nee Livingston) in 2001; and his brother Michael Francis Livingston in 2009.

Jim was born and raised in Calgary and spent his life here in the city he loved. Jim enjoyed sports and spent much of his youth participating in hockey, soccer and swimming competitively with the Sea Lions at the Calgary Winter Club. Jim spent many years in the trucking industry and was currently employed with Peak Energy. Jim’s greatest joy was and always will be his two boys. Jim’s love of life and fun was contagious. His spirit was authentic and he always had the ability to make you smile. Jim’s broad shoulders and beautiful blue smiling Irish eyes will be greatly missed but forever remembered.

A Celebration of Jim’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Friday, August 13, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
