Georgina Lilley, loving wife of Frank Lilley, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2014 at the age of 84.
Besides her loving husband of sixty-three years, Georgina is survived by two children, Frank (Debra) and Deanna; five grandchildren Remi, Steven, Allison, Blair and Sara and by one great-grandson Jackson. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
Georgina loved to spend time with her husband, children and grandchildren as well as her many relatives. She was also very active in the Deaf community in Calgary and across Canada. She helped many in Calgary learn American Sign Language as an instructor at Mount Royal College. Georgina had a warm personality and consequently made friends easily wherever she went.
A Graveside Service will be held at Queen’s Park Cemetery (4th Street and 31st Avenue N.W.) on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 12:30 p.m. A Celebration of Georgina’s Life will follow at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North) at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
