April 30, 1930 – March 20, 2013
Evelyn Lewko of Calgary, AB passed away suddenly to be with her Lord and Saviour on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 following an emergency surgery at the age of 82 years.
Evelyn was born in Davidson, SK and raised on the family homestead near Girvin, SK. She moved west to Calgary to finish school and be with her brothers and sisters. Evelyn met her future husband Joe at a family function at Marie’s. They married in 1952 and settled in North West Calgary. Like her husband, she was a very strong willed, courageous and determined individual who fought to over come many difficult challenges right to the end. Evelyn is now reunited with her husband who since his passing was deeply missed.
Evelyn is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law Darell and Kathy Lewko and two adored grandsons Evan and Noah who will miss her dearly.
