  2. Jessica Fischer :

My deepest sympathies to Robert’s family in your loss. Robert was a sweet man who loved cats. I saw him just on Friday before he passed away and he was very happy. He had a great chat on the bus with Lawrence and shared all about his work in the war and the railway. Robert had just purchased more cat food that day and was so glad to be able to care for creatures who needed help. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by Jessica Fischer, the Handibus Driver

  4. Pam Nielsen :

    For Robert’s Family,

Mr. Leonard was a cherished friend. He came to our home at Thanksgiving and other times and we had a wonderful time enjoying good food (no turkey though, he was allergic to it) and listening to Bob tell us about all his experiences in life!

He spoke a lot about the special woman in his life who passed away, and how he yearned to see her again. Perhaps they are together now.

I helped Bob give medications to his cats whom he loved and cared for, as they were his family and provided him with lots of unconditional love and joy. He would always feed his “kitties” and make sure they were content before he ate his breakfast in the morning and before going to bed at night.

I would be honoured to meet Mr. Leonard’s family and perhaps have a visit with his cherished kitties again.

And, Mr. Leonard if you are reading this….Bravo! Well Done!

    Pam Nielsen
