Isabella “Isobel” Adam Leonard of Calgary, passed away on Monday May 21, 2012 at the age of 89 years.
Isobel was born in Denny, Scotland. She came from a family of twelve children. She spent her young adult life as a lieutenant with the British Air Force. Isobel immigrated to Canada in 1952 and was married in Toronto. She was a proud mother of three children and was a homemaker and caregiver throughout her life.
Isobel is survived by daughter Cynthia Wood; two sons Allan Leonard (Lynda) and David Leonard; grandchildren, Jamie, Tammy, Thomas (Helen) and Caitlin; and great-grandchildren, Ahreiella, Shamus, Christin, Caitlyn, Devon and Mari. Isobel was predeceased by her husband James.
