LENZIN – Georgina Suzanne “Gina”

May 26, 1961 – April 12, 2011

Georgina Suzanne “Gina” Lenzin (nee Meisner) passed away peacefully on a sunny morning with birds singing. She is lovingly survived by her husband Gary Lenzin; daughter Jennifer and son-in-law Jonas Emilsson; and grandchildren Elias, Madilyn, and Jocelyn Emilsson; brother Murray Meisner (Karen); sister Ellen Vasic (Voyo), Brenda Tetrault (Don); and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents George and Edna Meisner, brother Brian, and sister Wendy. Gina will forever be remembered for her kind spirit and feisty nature.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Monday, April 18, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. Please forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. Gina’s family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff at Agape Hospice.

    Gina was a bright smile on my face every time I saw her. I still remember the day we moved you guys into your new home. She will be missed by all. I can not make it to Calgary by Monday but my thoughts and prayers are with you Gary and all your family. I will call when I get back to Calgary.

    Very sad to hear the passing of such a lovely woman. I worked with Gina at Shaw and I will always remember our great conversations. She had an infectious smile, positive attitude and really was a great woman.
