Condolence Messages

  1. My sincere condolences on Jack’s passing.

He had such a positive outlook on anything that life offered. When I worked at the Calgary Transit downtown office, I would watch for him, he would watch for me and we would take the opportunity to chat a bit. He would reminise about people from Crossfield both past and present. We always had lots to chat about, catch up on and he always stayed interested in everything about Crossfield.

Jo Tennant- former Mayor Town of Crossfield (present Deputy Mayor Town of Crossfield)

  3. Bill McLellan :

Shopping trips to the Market Mall just aren’t the same anymore! For quite a few years, after I retired and would walk to the Market Mall to shop, I would often find myself “spotted” by Jack, who would rush up, squeeze my arm and ask “What’s wrong with those Flames!?” or “What’s wrong with those Stampeders!?” After an animated discussion about the team of the day, Jack would always ask about our son, Scott, who played hockey as a youngster with his nephew Michael. Jack would bring me up to date on Michael’s activities and we would say “good bye” until the next encounter.

I enjoyed our imprompt meetings and I am missing him!

Dovell and I wish to express our deepest sympathies with all of Jack’s family. He always spoke warmly of you. He was a treasure!
