  1. Peter and Tammy Christiaans :

    Hi Barb,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mom. Regardless of age, it is difficult to say goodbye to such a loving parent as Auntie Elsie.
To me she was always so much younger than her real age. She loved life and gave her all to it as she did to those around her. I remember camping with Uncle Ted and her in grade nine….many visits to her apartment in my teen years and her eagerness to help with the making of my wedding dress. She always made me feel special and loved. Sent with love, Pete and Tammy

  2. Samantha (Christiaans) Egan :

I have such sweet memories of Auntie Elsie! Every birthday she remembered my siblings and I with a card and gift. The time we enjoyed together leaves me smiling at the memories I have of her.
Praying for the family. Most sincerely, Samantha

  3. Dan & Tara Christiaans :

Growing up, we received cards every Christmas and on each of our birthdays from Auntie Elsie…and they always had some money in them! She was kind and thoughtful to us as kids, and she always made the best butter-tarts. I am grateful for the love she showed us, and our condolences go out to the family. Our prayers are with you at this difficult time.

  4. Stacey (Christiaans) McCombe :

Such a special person that will be certainly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing.
Auntie Elsie made my sister and I these two beautiful knitted dolls. I remember hours playing with those two dolls and know that my children will have the same pleasure one day and will be a continual reminder of her generosity and kindness.
Praying for those closest to her! Love always, Stacey
