January 13, 2014 – Calgary, AB

Ted, beloved husband of Donna, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2014 at the age of 85 years.

Ted was an outstanding teacher and life learner. He had an encyclopedic memory and was always interested in gaining more knowledge. Ted was a devoted Calgary Flames fan, and enjoyed many sports. Ted is survived by his loving wife, Donna, of fifty-six years; three daughters, Diane, Vicky (Ken) and Janice (David), and son Jim, and twelve grandchildren. Ted will be dearly missed. Ted was predeceased by his parents.

A Celebration of Ted’s life will be held at Parkdale United Church (2919 – 8 Avenue N.W., Calgary, AB) on Monday, January 20, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through

    Condolences to you all.
    I had not seen Ted since the 1950’s when we both worked for Schlumberger. I remember him for his competence and friendly disposition.
    I note that Ted shares a birth date, Nov. 3, with my late wife Joy, who Ted knew, and son Mark.
    I’m sorry I’ll be unable to attend the memorial service on Monday the 20th.
