LATZEL – Heinz Herbert

February 10, 1923 – February 13, 2010

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Heinz Herbert Latzel on Saturday February 13, 2010, at the age of 87 years.

Heinz was born in Germany on February 10, 1923 and immigrated to Canada in 1951. He was a loving family man and will be remembered forever by his beloved wife of fifty-nine years Ilse, his two daughters Trudi (Hank) Riggelson and Carin Latzel, his two grandchildren Tracy (Jamie) Kowalski and Ryan Riggelson, his brother Horst (Rosa) Latzel, his brother-in-law Fred (Shirley) Allenberger, great-grandson Lucas Kowalski and numerous nieces and nephews. Heinz was predeceased by his parents and two siblings.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Celebration of Heinz’s life at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Friday, February 19, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Forward condolences through If desired, an expression of sympathy may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta (200-119 14 Street N.W.
