  3. Darlene Rendell :

I remember the first time I met Betty so clearly. I recall thinking “My…what a sweet, sweet lady…I like this gal!.” I loved being in her company and had many opportunities over the years. She welcomed me with open arms, she always had a smile and she just made me feel good!!! I will miss your smile, Betty, your gentle spirit and the loving memories. My sincerest condolences to you, my dearest friend Jane. I can only imagine your sadness. I know you will miss her forever and many more tears will be shed but we know she is now resting peacefully. Lean on your friends, my dear, for strength when you need it and always remember how much you are cared about. She’s now in heaven having a beer and a “scuff” (aka: dance) with Harley. God love ‘er! My heartfelt condolences as well to Harley and the children and Alain, Benoit, Jonathan and Isabelle at this sad time. Lean on your friends as well and be strong for each other. Love, Darlene xxoo

I feel so blessed to have known and been inspired by this wonderful person. We lost a “top shelf” individual but gained 80 years of having her amongst us. How fortunate are we, as a result?

    Thank you Betty !
