Manual Labelle has been called home by our Creator on Thursday, December 7, 2006 at the age of 53 years.
Manual was a great rodeo competitor in saddlebronc, steer wrestling, calf roping, and team roping in WIREA, IRCA, IPRA, and UIRA regions. He was a good hockey player and played for the Morley Braves and Morley Tomahawks. He also played for the Inspol Team in Quebec. At the time of his death he was employed by STA in agriculture. His trade was welding. He was a kind and gentle person and had a smile for everyone. Manual was a believer and had great respect for elders and older people.
Manual is survived by his loving children, Michelle, Jeremy, Danielle (William) and the mother of his children Madelyn; fourteen grandchildren, Curtis Jr., Helena (BJ), Nathaniel, Cali, Dru, Sheldon, Jessica, Emerson, Rayna, Cree, Noah, Dray, Derrion, Chloe; one brother Ernie (Winnie); four sisters, Evelyn, Rena, Pauline, and Carol; adopted mother Elsie Holloway; adopted sons Jody, Lyle and Dustin LaBelle; Aunties Edna and Lydia; sister-in-law Reba; Uncle Bill; and many cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives on Tsuu Tina, Hobbema, Thunderchild; and many friends.
Manual was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Alex and Jessie LaBelle; maternal grandparents, Moses and Mary Jane Chiniquay; his parents Louie and Katie LaBelle; and brothers, Ronald, Clifford, Louie, and Harvey LaBelle.
Wake Services will be held at the residence of late Manual LaBelle (Morley, AB) on Sunday, December 10, 2006 and Monday, December 11, 2006. Funeral Service will be celebrated at the Morley Gymnasium (Morley, AB) Tuesday, December 12 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Bearspaw Cemetery, Morley, AB.
