Waclaw Kwartek, beloved husband of Barbara Kwartek (nee Klyczak) of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at the age of 89 years.

Besides his loving wife of sixty-seven years, Waclaw is survived by daughter and son-in-law Helen and Stan Sobczyk; son and daughter-in-law Richard Kwartek and Gael O’Neil; two grandchildren Patricia (John) Wood and Steven (Teresa) Sobczyk; four great-grandchildren, Ryen and Tasha Wood and Abby and Kaydence Sobczyk. He is also survived by a sister Zosia Kondraczuk of Poland and numerous nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W. Calgary, AB) on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 8:00 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady Queen of Peace Polish Catholic Church (2111 Uxbridge Drive N.W.) on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow in Holy Family Cemetery at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens.
