Dear Sharon, Joanna, Frances and Gary;

My deepest sympathies to all of you. Your mother was a significant part of my life. I admired her positive outlook on life, her keen interest in people, her ability to welcome people into her heart, her ability to create with a needle and thread, her love of cats, her shopping expertise, her love of life, and how she made a house become a home. I have fond memories of having soup and sandwiches on weekends at Mrs. Krivy`s, being driven all over Calgary to Two Jack Lake, Banff and Radium in her white and salmon 1958 Buick, and I couldn’t wait for Annie’s fried chicken. Mrs. Krivy would take me in and provide care and comfort when I was young. Some of my earliest and best memories were with Sharon in a bath tub as Mrs. Krivy would bathe us. I was six and felt I had another mother in Mrs. Krivy. As a teenager my outward appearance was improved by her skill with a needle and thread and my inner strength was fortified because of her love and kindness.

Dad (Joe) had a tear in his eye when we told him and hopes that Camilla and her best friend Annie are together again. They would often sit together not saying a word just enjoying being together and knowing the times they shared.

My children, Jonathan, Thomas and Siobhan and my partner James send their condolences and remember your mother well, always enjoying her company and congenial personality. She was a woman we will always remember.

It is with great joy that I remember Mrs. Krivy. I was privileged to have been a part of her life and will always carry her memory in my heart.

Dear Krivy Family,
Our deepest sympathy on the passing of your mother.
She was friends with my parents (Steve & Anna Balog) for many years and we also got to know her over the years.

To the Krivy Family; dear Annie came into my life in the early 1950's when you lived over by the Holy Cross hospital. Annie made my "going-away" outfit for my wedding in 1958. Then she started making my maternity clothes. I so remember Gary and Joanna. My prayers are with you all. Joanne

Dear Gary & family,

Please accept my sympathy. Losing one's mother leaves a huge gap. I visited her in Rockyview as part of my pastoral care - her last days seemed so very peaceful.

With very best wishes,

Kathleen

Hi Gary,
I noticed that your mum passed away in the last few days … it was easy to see the strong family resemblance, your face shines through hers …. no mistaking who gave you a life and whose boy you are! She seems to have lived a very long and interesting life … you will live to 100! Raise a glass to a life well lived, and treasure the memories of this unique and wonderful woman. My thoughts are with you as this long chapter in your life closes and life goes on without ‘mother’…. it’s an adjustment even at our age, I know. You’ll never really be without her … you live so strongly through her, it shows so clearly. Hetty Roessingh
