KOZMA, John Frank

December 2, 2014 – Calgary, AB

John Kozma of Calgary, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at the age of 79 years.

John worked in the financial industry starting out in the bank and worked his way up to manager of consumer loans for the Southern Alberta region for CIBC until his retirement. John was an accomplished outdoorsman which saw him fishing and hunting on most weekends. In his younger days, John played hockey to the Sr. A level, baseball and boxed. John also loved to play the violin and was instrumental in forming the country band “Cottonwood Country”.

John is survived by his beloved children; Ruth (Ken), Sam, James (Lynne), Susan (Darren) and Jennifer. He was the proud Grampaw to nine grandchildren; Kali, Koadi, Jade, Karter, Tyler, Kortni, Shawn, Emily and Austin.

Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive S.W. Calgary, AB) on Monday, December 8, 2014 at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held at St. Michaels Catholic Community (800 – 85 Street SW, Calgary, AB T3H 4C7) on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Lethbridge, AB. Condolences may be forwarded through
