  4. Lidija Nesgaard :

Dear Nick, Doreen, Anne & Family

I don’t know how to express how saddened I am by your (everyone’s) loss.

Elizabeth came into my life in 1978 as the most amazing neighbour I have ever met. She was so kind, so full of sunshine. Within just a few months of meeting her, she filled a void in my life – she became the grandmother I was missing from Croatia. We spent many happy times on our patio sharing stories, learning new things, and just enjoying life over many cups of coffee. She was just the most beautiful person I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.

I will never forget when I gave birth, and my mom snuck her into the hospital to meet my baby. I have never been so touched by anyone.

May you find comfort in knowing how many lives she touched in such thoughtful ways – and always with a smile.

Love you forever teta Ibica! Rest in Peace beautiful lady.

    All my love,
    Lidija Nesgaard
