Ormond Samuel Koehli, beloved husband of Helen, passed away peacefully after his third valiant battle with cancer, at the age of 81. Ormond is survived by his loving wife Helen; older brother Oswald of Daysland, AB; and stepchildren John (Janice) Devaney, Maureen (Zhenya) Sokolovsky, and Neil Devaney. Ormond was an active member of the Daysland community, where he still has many friends and relatives, before moving south to Calgary. He worked for Rogers’ Rent All, and Sears Canada Service Center, where he met Helen. All those who knew Ormond knew his special affection for animals and theirs for him. As all of his friends from the Forest Lawn Seniors Center can attest, Ormond’s passion was playing Crib, but he also greatly enjoyed taking part in all of the other activities at the Center.
