  3. Angela Johnson :

Grandpa I lost you today you did not wake

When they told me you were gone I felt my heart break

All the years you watched me grow
The memories we share rain sun and snow

Out on the porch decorating the tree
Running in your yard I flit so free

Now you are gone and heaven awaits
Nanny will be at the pearly gates

I thought of you tonight as I looked to the sky
But this poem will be our final goodbye

But before you go to your new home above
Know that you go with a life time of love

I love you Great Grandpa Cheerio
