KNIGHT, Harold Walter

July 21, 1925 – November 30, 2012

Harold, beloved husband of Hilda passed away peacefully on November 30, 2012 at the age of 87 years.

Harold was born on July 21, 1925 in Crossfield, AB to Walter and Marie Knight.

Harold is survived by his devoted wife of 66 years Hilda and his loving family, Barbara and Regg Poffenroth, Judy and Bill Bancroft, Bruce and Robin Knight, and Janice and Bart Gaspers; his eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Wednesday December 5, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.     So sorry to hear of Coach Hal’s passing. He was a great man and was a huge influence on all of us as we grew up in Beiseker and Irricana. Some of my best memories of growing up include playing baseball and hockey for teams coached by Harold. Condolences and sincere sympathy.
