  1. Gil Francisco, #10 Bisons :

My sincere condolences for the Knez family. I have very fond memories of sharing the ice with Dav and his son during our team’s premier season. The times off the ice were a lot of fun too. He was a great guy to get to know for sure.

  12. I was very saddened to hear of Dav’s death. Although I did not know him well, I was fortunate to have worked with him at both CPR and FortisAlberta. My experience confirmed that Dav was very good at what he did. He was also generous with his time and knowledge–a true pleasure to work with. Although he was taken too young by cancer, he demonstrated the strength of his character in his desire to fully live his life. Dav will be greatly missed, and will be remembered for a long time to come.

  15. Dear Ellen & family, I just heard of Davorin’s passing. I cannot begin to imagine what you have been through and how you feel. All I do know is the shock that I felt when I heard the news. Thinking of you and Davorin brought back so many good memories of our times together in Montreal and Greenfield Park. I will always remember him as a terrific person and father, kind and soft-spoken and above all genuine. I hope that with the support of family and friends, you will all have the strength to continue and be sustained with the beautiful memory of Davorin.
