January 16, 2014 – Calgary, AB

Marlene Anne Klement, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2014 after a lengthy illness at the age of 78 years.

Marlene’s life career was being a nurse in Goleta, California and she remained dedicated to helping others even after she retired. Marlene’s love and kindness for helping others never stopped even up until her passing.

Marlene is survived by her loving husband Les, of 58 years; her two son’s Bryan (Sherry) Klement and Brent (Dora) Klement; her two daughter’s Rebecca (Michael) Frankel and Jackie Klement. She also leaves behind twelve grandchildren Dawn, Brianne, Aaron, Travis, Adam, Nathan, Shera-Tova, Yoseph, Chase, Christy, Kelly and Amber. Marlene was a proud great-grandmother of seven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.

Marlene will be sadly missed by all her family and her many friends.

Marlene was predeceased and now joins her two son’s Bruce and Blaine Klement.

A Memorial Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Friday, January 24, 2014 at 2:00 p.m.  Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
