  5. Irene Johansen :

Susan was my landlady, but later, an inspiration. She took her dreams and she made them a reality. I had a chance to reconnect with her recently, through her wonderful potter of course. I love the direction she was going in – beautiful work – but especially that she had stayed the course and was seeing the results and enjoying the fruits of her leap of faith. A light has gone out. It will light us up again, but in the meantime people known and unknown will miss her talent and her sweet self. My thoughts and prayers to her family and friends, and especially Jay and her mother.
