My heart goes out to all of you! I have so many wonderful memories of your mom. She was so easy to talk to, and we shared a lot of laughs and stories over the years. I am so glad I had been in touch with her, looking back now probably right about the time she became ill and I will always regret that we never did get together for coffee or a chat. Her greatest joy was always her children and I know that with Gordon, she was so happy. She will forever be in your hearts.

  8. Kathryn Bourland :

I am saddened to hear of Lynda’s passing. I wish to share with you my condolence, and realize you would not know me. My family had been long time friends of the Kinwaters since before I was born. Our grandmothers know each other and it was Lynda’s grandmother Hiembecker who introduced my grandparents to each other in Eckville Alberta in around 1921 when my grandmother Bess Cowen came west to visit. My parents were Fred and Selina Bourland and I have many fond memories of time with Marg and Alec at the house which looked out onto the North Hill Shopping Center. Lynda was 10 years older than me so we were only family friends with such an age difference. My parents are both gone and had lost contact with Marg. I am interested in where I might visit Marg if possible.
I am so very pleased to see Lynda had a full life and ability to get out of the Alberta winters. Yes, she was a wonderful cook. May it help you to know others are thinking of you at this time.

Gord, Brad (Joni and family), Shelley (Ondrea) and Hadley.

My sincere condolences to all of you. My heart aches at the loss of this lovely lady and my beautiful friend. Lynda always gave 100% in everything she did. She was a warm, generous, loving and loyal with a wonderful sense of humor. She and I shared so many laughs over the years and we were often gasping for breath! I always smile every time I think about her.

I hope that she knew how much she was loved, respected and appreciated and how many lives she touched. She had such pride in her family and their accomplishments.
A very beautiful lady too soon gone and who will always be loved and remembered.

    With love

    Gordon, Family and Michelle,
My thoughts and sympathy are with you at this sad time. Lynda had such warmth and generosity of spirit – she had many friends who loved being a part of her life. I will always remember Lynda and feel very fortunate to have known her. So many fun times were spent with Lynda throughout our special sisterhood get-away weekends either at Sylvan Lake or Canmore. As always, Lynda made sure we were well fed with her homemade treats!
I hope you can find some small comfort in your good memories and in the thoughts of the happy years you shared.

  12. Barbara and Alan Svarich :

    Gord and Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. I am in shock that my most wonderful and gentle loving friend is no longer with us. Lynda, Margaret and Shelley were the most special of ladies from the first time I met them…..their beauty, their soft gentle ways and the most special of smiles that went all the way to their eyes. When I was around the three of them I felt so serene and special.
I was so looking forward to sharing more time with Lynda in Indio and sharing our love for art, decorating, cooking and family as Alan and I are now spending the winter in Indio. Lynda was the most special of people and she touched my life from when we first met while working for DuPont Canada. I pray that you all will find comfort in the good memories of the years you all spent together knowing that she loved you all so much and you were always all so precious to her. Our deepest sympathy.
