KIPRICK, Catherine (Katie) (nee Schwengler)

March 19, 1916 – December 26, 2012

Catherine (Katie) Kiprick of Airdrie and formerly of Beiseker, AB, passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at the age of 96 years.

Katie is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Ed and Joan of Lethbridge and Harold and Brenda of Calgary; two daughters and a son-in-law, Mary and Harvey Hempel of Strathmore, and Theresa Hagel of Calgary; ten grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. She is also survived by her brother Simon Schwengler of Airdrie.

Katie was predeceased by her husband Joseph; son Jerry; son-in-law Albert Hagel; and two sisters and three brothers.

Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church (Beiseker, AB) on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Beiseker, AB.
